The Groom Room : News June 2010

DOG OF THE MONTH at The Groom Room

Dog of the Month

This is a lovely Bichon Frise, and he is our "June feature" which illustrates that what ever your breed, you don't have to have the "conventional style" trim; you can have what ever you feel suits your own special boy or girl! This little lad cuts a dash with a short jacket, shapely legs and full ears. He visits The Groom Room every six weeks, and his mum diligently brushes him each day to stop his wooly hair from becoming knotted. What a hansome chap!!

The Groom Room's Exciting Expansion Plans!

We love to say "Yes" to everyone who gets in contact wishing for that "Special Groom Room Pamper", and it is heart breaking when we are fully booked. So, plans are afoot to enable us always to say "Yes""!

Later in 2010 The Groom Room will be locally relocating to super new, large premises in Winsford, less than 5 miles from the current premises. We will keep you updated as we near the moving date, and of course let you know exactly where it is and how to get there. You're going to love it!

The Latest Examination Success

We are delighted to pass on the good news that Rachel passed her most recent Advanced City & Guilds Level 3 practical exam with "Distinction", grooming this beautiful Springer Spaniel. Our thanks as always go to the kindness of her owners, who brought her regularly to The Groom Room in the months leading up to the exam, for her necessary preparation.

Wow Rachel! Keep up the good work; you've really set a president now!

Westie or Scottie wanted for the next exam...

Do you have a full coated Westie or Scottie which you would like Rachel to groom in her next Advanced examination? If so, why not email Rachel a photograph of your dog along with your contact telephone number, and your fabulous terrier could be in the next Groom Room success feature!

As a thank you for taking part, we will groom your dog free of charge from now until the examination. All that we ask is that you bring your dog to The Groom Room regularly for grooming and exam preparation sessions, and that you are happy for your dog to spend one full day travelling with Rachel on the day of the examination. We look forward to hearing from you!
