DOG OF THE MONTH at The Groom Room

This is a really cute Lhasa Apso who has encountered the "rough clip, no blending" treatment prior to her visit to The Groom Room! A little TLC and an "eye for the picture" has given her a make-over and a look far more becoming of her tender years. Go strut your stuff pup!

To Strip or not to Strip?

A subject we have covered a few months ago... but here are a couple of pictures to give you food for thought. If it is "the look" you are after then there is no need to have your dog hand-stripped. As you can see it is perfectly possible to achieve a natural look with clever use of clippers and scissors. Both these dogs had previously been hand-stripped, but today have been treated to The Groom Room'sspecial natural-look clip. What do you think...?

Your Dog's ears!

You may be amazed at the number of well loved dogs we see at The Groom Room with painfully infected ears! When you are cuddling up with your pooch in front of the TV, just take a little look inside their ears to check that all is well. It is a really good idea to give your dog's ears a clean out every week with a few drops of cleaning fluid on a ball of cotton wool. This could save you a costly trip to the vet, and save your dog a huge amount of pain!
